Software to Optimize Virtual Crash Test Dummy Models and Associated Materials
Denton ATD Completes New Design and Manufacturing Facility for Crash Test Dummies: Denton has completed its new crash test dummy design and manufacturing facility in Huron, Ohio. Denton’s commitment to the occupant safety industry along with customer demand for its ATDs and certification equipment has prompted investment in this 45,000 square foot facility. As the world’s first facility to be built specifically for manufacturing of dummies, it incorporates a state-of-the-art machining center and advanced environmental controls to ensure the optimal conditions for vinyl and rubber molding as well as dummy certification testing. Denton will be announcing details about its grand opening in the next few weeks.
Denton ATD Expands Virtual Product Team with the addition of European Sales and Support Manager. Denton ATD and ETA Announce Distribution Agreement: A distribution agreement between Denton ATD and ETA was signed allowing ETA to sell Denton virtual dummy products and support them through its VPG finite element modeling product. The Denton SID-IIsD, H3-5th, and H3-50th Finite Element Models will be available soon in LS-DYNA and PAM-CRASH FE formats. New Working Relationship: Denton ATD, Inc. and Engineering Technology Associates, Inc. Form New Working Relationship for Virtual Products. BioRID-II Seminars: The Denton Technical Center (DTC) is currently scheduling two-day seminars to help customers gain both knowledge and experience with the BioRID-II.
